As a little girl, you attach yourself to certain things and certain people that help you define yourself. I saw in MJ all the things that I thought were true and beautiful.
He always showed a giving disposition and never a harsh word. I did not realized how much he meant to me. He showed me and the world how to be 'soft-spokenly' powerful.
From my vantage point he had a 'pure' way. You could always tell that he had that "point" that he would not go beyond. The lyrics he sang always emphasized the responsibility we have to one another.
Michael Jackson was a beautiful Black man. He gave more of himself than nearly anyone else I know of.
This like any other situation, in hindsight, what could we have done to help him? How, (and who) could have eased his pain?
He has absolutely, positively impacted the world.
May Allah be pleased with Bro. Michael Jackson.
